TACVIDO FORTE TOPICAL SOLUTION

Tacvido Forte Solution is used to treat eczema (atopic dermatitis). It works by suppressing the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin. This relieves itching and improves rashes in atopic dermatitis. TACVIDO FORTE TOPICAL SOLUTION contains Tacrolimus which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to treat and prevent moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) when other conventional therapies fail to provide adequate results. Atopic dermatitis is an allergic skin condition that makes your skin itchy, red, dry and irritated. It is characterized by small, raised bumps on the skin with pus accompanied by severe skin itching, redness and inflammation.

In Prevention of organ rejection in transplant patients. Tacvido Forte Solution belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressants. Organ rejection happens when your immune system treats the new organ as an invader and attacks it. This medicine weakens your immune response (which usually fights infection) and reduces the chance of your body attacking the transplanted organ. It is used in combination with other medicines to make it much more likely that your transplant operation will be successful. You should continue taking the medicine and should not stop it until your doctor says so.

While undergoing therapy with TACVIDO FORTE TOPICAL SOLUTION, avoid exposing your skin towards direct sunlight or any artificial light sources. Wear loose-fitting protective clothes and apply sunscreen while going outdoors. Also, avoid the consumption of alcohol as it may make your skin look more flushed. Do not smoke or go near naked flames as it may increase the risk of burns.

Tacrolimus (0.1% w/v)

Tacvido Forte Solution is used for external use. It should be used 2-4 times a day on the affected area or used as suggested by the doctor. It should be applied slowly and evenly to the skin until it is rubbed in. You should not use it too often and you should not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster. You must inform your doctor if there’s no improvement even after two weeks of treatment or if the skin gets worse.
