TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL

Tacvido Forte Oral Gel is a medicine used to treat oral lichen planus. It provides relief from inflammation caused by this disease. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel works by blocking calcineurin, an enzyme that activates T lymphocytes and causes inflammation associated with lichen planus. Oral lichen planus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes severe inflammation of the mucosal membranes to present inside the mouth. It is characterized by the appearance of white, painful thickened patches on the tongue, lips and/or cheeks, inflammation of the gums oral irritation, sensitivity to hot and spicy food, red, swollen tissues with open pores or burning sensation and bleeding from the gums.

In Oral lichen planus. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressive agents. It helps relieve inflammation associated with oral lichen planus. This medicine works by decreasing the production of certain chemicals that cause inflammation. Do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after application. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.

Tacrolimus (0.1% w/v)

Apply the required amount of TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL on the damaged tissues of the oral cavity. It is for oral topical use only. Do not rinse your mouth or drink water or any other fluids for at least 30 minutes after applying TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL. Do not swallow the medicine. Try not to remove TACVIDO FORTE ORAL GEL with your tongue. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration of therapy and frequency of application for you depending on your age, body weight and severity of the disease.
