Glenmark Candid Multi Benefit Cream

Candid Cream is primarily useful for fungal infections of the skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also beneficial for the skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). CANDID contains clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called azole antifungal agents. It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal nappy rash (in babies) and fungal sweat rash. It can also be used to treat irritation of the vulva (external thrush) or irritation at the tip of the penis (penile thrush). External thrush is a common fungal infection caused by the aggravation of fungi, which usually live harmlessly in the vagina or vulva.
